Nanotechnology: Start Planning

Nanotechnology: Start Planning

This is a good article. It illustrates one of the reasons I decided to start this journey and create this Blog. There's a lot of good information and some watchout markets. I didn't think of ALL of the implications of molecular manufacturing...if manufacturing a product means simply drafting it on a computer and "printing" out the finished good (perhaps that's a little simplistic, but you get the idea). That's going to represent a lot of lost jobs...manufacturing, transportation (it'll be cheaper to manufacture on the spot rather than move it), construction (most forms)...what does that leave us with? Lawyers, politicians, military, civil cervants, service industry, entertainment industry, video game industry, movie industry, etc. We're going to live in a hedonistic, Lawyer and bureacrat ridden society (with teeth).

The fact is, this technology will come...the building blocks are already there. The question is, how are we going to prepare for it. Think of your life now, and now picture it in 10 years...now 20. That is the estimated time frame. Once this revolution begins, it will bring on a new age, but there is always a price in blood and tears involved in any birth of a new age.
